Inauguration of NIPM Student Chapter at Yashoda Technical Campus on 1st September 2026

The Student Chapter of the National Institute of Personnel Management (NIPM), Satara Sahyadri Chapter, was inaugurated on Tuesday,1st September 2026 for management students at Yashoda Technical Campus, run by the reputed Yashoda Shikshan Prasarak Mandal in Satara.

NIPM is the country’s premier professional body of executives working in Human Resources (HR) and Industrial Relations (IR), conducting diverse national-level initiatives for the past 45 years. Established last year, NIPM’s Satara Sahyadri Chapter has brought together eminent domain experts over the past seven months to guide HR, IR, and labour management professionals across industries through various programs.

The inauguration of this second Student Chapter by the NIPM Satara Sahyadri Chapter was graced by Dr. Ajinkya Sagare, Vice President of Yashoda Shikshan Prasarak Mandal; Dr. Nitin Deshpande, Western Regional Conference (WRC) Convener and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Cooper Corporation; Dr. Uday Bhosale, Chapter Chairman and Global Head – IR at Wipro PARI Ltd., Mahesh Khare- Chapter Secretary, Dr. Ranjitsinh Mohite- Joint Director of Yashoda Shikshan Sanstha and Jagannath Kamble.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Ajinkya Sagare emphasized that partnering with professional bodies like NIPM enriches students’ knowledge, noting that such management-driven initiatives are critical toward realizing the vision of a Developed India (Viksit Bharat). He added that student chapters provide crucial impetus for personality and leadership development. Dr. Sagare also announced that the institute has accepted the co-host role for the upcoming Western Regional Conference organized by NIPM Satara Sahyadri Chapter on October 10, 2026.

Chief Guest Dr. Nitin Deshpande noted that NIPM student chapters build a vital bridge between academia and industry. Through active involvement, management students gain access to NIPM webinars, conferences, and expert lectures that broaden their professional outlook. He highlighted that engaging with practicing HR leaders offers strong networking and knowledge-sharing opportunities, urging students to actively participate in and leverage the Western Regional Conference.

Chapter Chairman Dr. Uday Bhosale briefed students on NIPM’s nationwide footprint and the initiatives driven by the Satara Sahyadri Chapter. Faculty members, staff, and a large number of management students attended the event.
