The NIPM Sahyadri Satara Chapter – Student Chapter continued its efforts to connect management education with industry requirements by organising a special Training Programme “Campus to Corporate” at The Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil Institute of Management Studies and Research (KBPIMSR). The programme was attended by 68 management students along with faculty members, who actively participated throughout the sessions.
The programme aimed to prepare students for the transition from academic life to the professional world by developing the right attitude, skills and competencies. Through a combination of interactive exercises, group activities, discussions, games and presentations, students explored important areas such as self-awareness, understanding others, professional behaviour, corporate expectations, adaptability, creativity, decision-making and effective workplace communication. The sessions also highlighted the importance of goal orientation, career focus, agility, professionalism and stress management in building a successful corporate career. Practical activities encouraged students to reflect on their strengths, understand workplace situations and develop confidence in handling professional challenges.
The programme was facilitated by Dr Rashmi Hebalkar, Founder Director of Prabodhan Management Consultancy & Research Institute, and an experienced trainer in education, training and organisational development. This initiative was taken by chapter under the august leadership of Dr Nitin Deshpande (Convener WRC 2026) and Dr Uday Bhosale (Chapter Chairman).
The inaugural session of the training programme was graced by Mr. Mahesh Khare, Secretary – NIPM Sahyadri Satara Chapter, along with the management faculty members of KBPIMSR — Dr S. S. Bhola, Dr S. R. Nikam, Dr S. B. Chavan, and other faculty members. Their presence added value and encouragement to the programme and reflected the collaborative efforts towards strengthening management education and professional development among students.
