NIPM Sahyadri Satara Chapter took an important step by establishing its first NIPM Student Chapter at Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil Institute of Management Studies and Research (KBMIMSR), Varye, Satara.

The initiative aims to provide students with opportunities for HR knowledge, professional guidance, industry interaction, and career development.

The programme was attended by Dr. Narendra Patil, National Vice President, NIPM; Mr. Abhay Khursale, National Council Member, NIPM; Dr. Uday Bhosale, President, NIPM Sahyadri Satara Chapter; Mr. Nitin Deshpande, Vice President; Mr. Mahesh Khare, Secretary, and other distinguished guests and industry professionals.

On the occasion, KBMIMSR organised a One-Day Management Development Programme (MDP) on the theme:

“Redefining the Roles of HR Managers in Contemporary Organizations.”

The programme included sessions on important HR topics such as “Empirical Studies in HRM – Approaches and Applications” and “Evolving Role of HR Manager.” The sessions provided students with practical insights into the changing role of HR professionals and current industry requirements.

The programme received participation from HR representatives of several leading organisations, providing students with an opportunity to interact with industry professionals and understand practical HR practices.

The establishment of the Student Chapter will provide students in Satara with a platform for learning, networking, industry interaction, and career development. It will also help strengthen the industry–academia relationship and support the development of future HR professionals.
