“Campus to Corporate” – Training Programme at Yashoda Technical Campus

The NIPM Sahyadri Satara Chapter – Student Chapter was recently inaugurated at Yashoda Technical Campus, with an objective of providing management students with meaningful opportunities for knowledge enhancement, personality development and professional growth.

As part of this initiative, a special Training Programme “Campus to Corporate” was organised, in which around 40 management students participated enthusiastically. The programme was designed to help students confidently transition from academic life to the corporate environment. The initial session focused on self-awareness and understanding others through interactive activities. This was followed by sessions on the differences between campus and corporate life, industry expectations, professional behaviour and workplace skills. Further sessions focused on adaptability, creativity, decision-making, helping students understand how to respond effectively to changing workplace situations. The programme also covered difference of campus to corporate, expected competencies, professionalism, agility, goal orientation, career focus and stress management, enabling students to develop a positive and balanced professional outlook. The sessions were conducted through group discussions, activities, games and presentations, making the learning highly interactive and experiential.

The programme was facilitated by Dr Rashmi Hebalkar, Founder Director of Prabodhan Management Consultancy & Research Institute and an experienced trainer in education, training and organisational development. This initiative was taken by chapter under the august leadership of Dr Nitin Deshpande (Convener WRC 2026) and Dr Uday Bhosale (Chapter Chairman). The training programme received an encouraging start in the presence of Mr. Mahesh Khare, Secretary – NIPM Sahyadri Satara Chapter. Dr Randhirsinh Mohite, Dr Ashish Chavan, Dr Rajashri Chavan, and other faculty members from Yashoda Technical Campus were also present on the occasion. The participation of NIPM representatives and faculty members highlighted the institution’s collaborative approach towards enhancing students’ management knowledge, professional skills and industry readiness.
